Resident Evil 0 marks the first totally exclusive, original survival horror title for Nintendo's GameCube system. Starring Rebecca Chambers, and a new character Billy Coen in a prequel to Resident Evil 1. Explore new areas of Raccoon City, and search to uncover the secrets of the T-Virus.
Control both characters simultaneously, switching between back and forth and splitting up to solve new puzzles. Items can now be dropped anywhere in the game, replacing the traditional item boxes in previous games. Detailed character models and realistic backgrounds (mixing pre-rendered pictures with animated effects) take the horror to the next level.

After the success of Code Veronica on both the Dreamcast and PS2capcom was high on the success joint and they decided to make aspin off of the successful game, only for the arcades though.The original name for the game was fire storm or something likethat I think, but it was changed accordingly, since this gamewas based mostly on the first half of the events that take placein Code : Veronica.
